Bio
Ms. Lu is a certified teacher/educator with nearly 20 years of teaching and managing experience in Canada and China.
As a teacher/school administrator at a renowned high school in Xi'an, China, she had complete secondary education experience in teaching and student support from G7 to G12. She has acquired various accomplishments and distinctions in her teaching and student-supporting history. She became the director of the student development department at a remarkably young age due to her knowledge and expertise.
Before becoming a high school teacher and a student guidance counsellor in Canada, she obtained a Canadian master's degree and became a Ph.D. candidate at Memorial University. Her master's dissertation was on school management, and her doctoral research focused on student leadership in student development. At that time, she was the sole researcher specializing in student leadership among Canadian universities.
She is well-versed in Canadian secondary and higher education, particularly Ontario's curricula and assessment systems. She is good at helping students find the most suitable pathway in this diverse evaluation system and helping them succeed. Through Ms. Lu's guidance, it is easier for students to find their gifts, head straight to their goals, and avoid wasting time and detours. Ms. Lu's assistance has helped many students gain admission to top universities worldwide. They have developed a consistent learning foundation and competitive learning abilities.
Based on her rich practical and academic experiences in youth education, Ms. Lu has a unique educational philosophy and theories: Every student is a possibility. Every child has greatness inside them. They need a mentor who believes in that possibility every day, which helps nurture it and see it grow. Ms.Lu does this for her students daily; many students have benefited from her support and dedication, and they strongly feel that they are developing and improving much more after spending time with Ms. Lu.
